Are you having relationship issues or struggling with anxiety? Are you feeling depressed at times, or finding family difficult? Have you had a life transition such as a redundancy or an illness or bereavement? It may be that life is getting on top of you, and it may feel that there is no one to turn to help sort things out.
Talking to me can help.
I am a fully qualified psychotherapist offering one to one integrative psychotherapy for young people, teenagers and adults.
My integrative training means that I have studied a number of therapeutic techniques and I aim to use the ones which will be best suited to you and what you feel comfortable with.
I create a friendly, kind and safe environment to allow you to work through the issues that you may have, whilst feeling supported, valued and heard. I can help you with anxiety, generalised anxiety disorder, depression, bereavement, relationship issues, phobias, family issues, life events and transitions, childhood abuse and other issues.
I am a fully qualified Psychotherapist with a Diploma and MA in Humanistic & Integrative Psychotherapy from Middlesex University and the Bath Centre for Psychotherapy and Counselling (BCPC). I am also UKCP accredited. My UKCP registration number is 2011162579.
My training was an in-depth over a seven year period covering a huge range of psychotherapeutic approaches, including Mental Health placements in Psychiatric hospitals, seven years therapy myself, and 450+ hours minimum client work.
I also have a Diploma in Eye Movement Integration. This is additional training which I undertook in order to offer more specific trauma based healing. The Eye Integration technique allows trauma to be effectively decontextualized. This is very similar to EDMR.
I also work in the NHS as a psychotherapist, specialising in long term chronic conditions so I have particular expertise in this area. If you have diabetes, CFS, fibromyalgia or any other condition then I can offer you an experienced approach.
